SoOnCon 2010 is the Southern Ontario Hackerspaces & Makers Mini-Conference.

NOTE! Online Registration is now closed; however you can register at the door!

The Friday night festivities begin with a catered reception for registered participants and a cash bar. Registered Participants are free to bring a guest for an additional $20 at the door.

Saturday is an all-day event with a keynote speaker, talks, demonstrations, workshops, and projects!

After the full day on Saturday, you're invited to Nuit Blanche to see what Toronto art has to offer.

Don't forget to get your hack on with our convention badge: an ARM-based microcontroller!

The Important Details!

When: 6:00pm of October 1st to the wee hours and it starts again at 9:00am October 2nd... and into the beyond!

Events & Happenings

On Friday night, there will be an awesome catered reception at KwartzLab with lightning talks and badge hacking. The event is catered and there will be a cash bar.

On Saturday, our all-day main event complete with a keynote speaker, talks, demonstrations, workshops and projects! See our Schedule for more info.

Saturday evening, we'll be heading to Toronto for Nuit Blanche. This includes a party at and behind-the-scenes tour of Flux and Fire, a Site 3 installation. SoOnCon attendees are welcome to stay at Site 3 if you don't want to be out all night-- bring a sleeping bag!

Convention Badge

The convention badge for this year's SoOnCon is a fully-hackable, ARM-based micro controller designed by James Bastow and Andrew Mackie from Kwartzlab.

So not only do you get two days worth of hacking and making, but you get an awesome badge to do it with as well! Come out to the Friday night Social and learn how to hack your badge!

Tickets are $40 and are available at the door on both days.

We'd like to meet you and see what you're working on! SoOnCon is just the framework, your contributions are its content.
